At Ériu, we Farm to Yarn. Inspired by our grandmothers’ hand knit baby blanket, we took a journey to understand the tragic decline of Irelands’ wool industry and took steps to reinvigorate this valuable natural resource by creating a rare and unique blend of woollen yarn. We source this wool direct from our own sheep on our farm in Wicklow, and from a nationwide network we incentivised that we call our Farm to Yarn networks. From our beautiful soft and special yarn we make hand made blankets, sweaters, accessories and have also made this yarn available for knitters through our knit kits and skeins. Our wool and products are sourced, processed and handmade on our island and we are proud to be the first Irish knitwear brand using 100% Irish wool.
