Inspired by the beautiful Wicklow countryside and nature that surrounds me. I love to represent this in my work. My passion for wildlife and the challenge to capture living things keeps me creating. I have always worked in the Design Industry and this has taken me all over the world. I began my journey in Fashion working in Paris this lead me to working in India where I created weaving and embroidery designs that graced many a special occasion outfit. Continuing my career to Hong Kong where I worked on mass market production of Womenswear. I have always loved to create and Craft is at my Roots. A need to work with my hands lead me away from fashion to Sculpture. Today and for the past 10 years I have been creating unique sculptures of Wildlife I never get board of making these pieces they stared as an image in my Head come from the Heart and are made by my Hand this is the best job . Every piece has its very own character. Often I receive images of my pieces enjoying family events being part of that family with bows on or joined by the wildlife that surround them this is the greatest reward.
