Louise O’Hara, the designer and maker behind Culu Design, has been working with polymer clay for over 20 years.Her work is known for its expressive use of layered colour, tactile textures, and modern, sculptural forms.

Louise has been drawn to clay since childhood, fascinated by its tactile nature and the quiet satisfaction of shaping something by hand. That connection has stayed with her through years of making, evolving into a distinctive jewellery practice that balances playfulness with considered design. Each piece begins with raw clay, colours mixed and pieces shaped by hand, then carefully layered, cured, sanded, assembled, and finished in her dedicated home studio. Nothing is outsourced and nothing is mass produced, ensuring every piece has its own character.
