Naturally scented soy candles and rapeseed oil soaps

Located in an idyllic converted stable yard in North Co. Wicklow, Ella makes naturally scented soy candles and rapeseed oil soaps.

Inspired by the calm feeling of being in nature, Ella’s products are made with essential oils instead of synthetic fragrance. Unlike synthetic perfumes, essential oils are extracted directly from flowers, herbs, trees and spices and have been enjoyed for thousands of years for their sensory and therapeutic benefits.

Prior to creating this range of work Ella worked as a private chef. She finds many similarities between cooking and candle/soap making. “In both you need good ingredients and good recipes as a starting point, but to create something special you need intuition, imagination and lots of practice”.
